  8. This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

  10.     I request a complete and thorough search of all filing 
  11. systems and locations for all records maintained by your agency 
  12. pertaining to and/or captioned

  39.     Please place any "missing" files pertaining to this 
  40. request on "special locate" and advise that you have done this.

  42.     If documents are denied in part or whole, please specify 
  43. which exemption(s) is(are) claimed for each passage or whole 
  44. document denied. Please provide a complete itemized inventory and 
  45. detialed factual justification of total or partial denial of 
  46. documents. Specify the number of pates in each document and th 
  47. ttoal number of pages pertaining to this request. For classified 
  48. material denied, please include the following information: the 
  49. classification rating (confidential, secret, or top secret); 
  50. identify the classifier; date or event for automatic 
  51. declassification, classification review or downgrading; if 
  52. applicable, identify the official authorizing extension of 
  53. automatic declassification or reviw; and, if applicable, give the 
  54. reason for extended classification.

  56.         I request that excised material be "blacked out" rather 
  57. than "whited out" or cut out. I expect, as provided by the 
  58. Freedom of Information Act, that the remaining non-exempt 
  59. portions of documents will be released.
  60.  
  61.     Please send a memo (copy to me) to the appropriate units 
  62. in your office or agency to assure that no records related to 
  63. this request are destroyed. Please advise of any destruction of 
  64. records and include the date of and authority for such 
  65. destruction.

  67.         As I expect to appeal any denials, please specify the 
  68. office and address to which an appeal should be directed.

  70.     I believe my request qualifies for a waiver of fees since 
  71. the release of the requested information would primarily benefit 
  72. the general public and be "in the public interest."
